Contemporary Christian music composed and performed by Scott McDonald.  All songs composed by Scott McDonald in 2006 with the exception of  “Give Me Peace” which was written in 1996, recorded in 2003, and features Scott’s wife Lori on backup vocals, and “I’ve Found My Home” – words by Lori McDonald, music by Scott McDonald.  “Give Me Peace” is also included on the CD ‘Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas.’

“Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas”

 

A collection of secular and sacred Christmas songs including two original songs: “The Shepherd Song,” and “Give Me Peace.”

 

Previously released on cassette album only with the exception of “Give Me Peace.”

 

Scott McDonald piano/keyboard/vocals

 

All songs except “Give Me Peace” recorded and released in 1992.  “Give Me Peace” was written in 1996, recorded in 2003, and features Scott’s wife Lori on backup vocals.

 

“The Shepherd Song” is a choral piece by Scott, published by Hal Leonard Publishing Co.  The performance on this recording is by the University of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory of Music Heritage Chorale under the direction of Eph Ehly.  The Bach Society Chorale and Orchestra of St. Louis performed this piece on their Christmas Concert at Powell Symphony Hall in St. Louis on December 16, 2003.
